FlexScan office monitors are an attractive addition to any office. Their sleek, compact design is elegant and the ideal size. The virtually frameless models are the perfect choice for multi-screen solutions and also look great as a stand-alone monitor, all while offering maximum usability.

Unlimited space, comfortable visibility

The 37.5-inch EV3895-WT monitor features an ultrawide 24:10 aspect ratio. The 3840 x 1600 resolution (UWQHD+) provides almost three times the resolution of a Full-HD monitor. The massive screen area means there’s plenty of space to run multiple applications, with no need for additional monitors.

The curved design ensures comfortable visibility. The distance between your eyes and the screen increases towards the edges, something that becomes even more obvious when you sit closer to the monitor. In contrast to a consistently flat surface, the monitor’s curvature gives you a better view of the sides of the screen.

Elegant design

The look of a monitor can be key to creating a pleasant working environment. Whether you’re at home or in the office, the monitor’s minimalist design and ergonomic features allow it to fit naturally into your workplace environment.

Thanks to its virtually frameless housing and slim, stable stand, the monitor requires very little space despite its large screen size, meaning the EV3895-WT leaves plenty of space to work comfortably, even on smaller desks.

Controls integrated into bezel

Electrostatic switches are integrated into the front of the EV3895-WT instead of mechanical buttons. This ensures ease of use while also giving the monitor an extremely elegant look. The speakers and all the controls are also built into the bezel, pointing forward in the direction of the user. They are fully integrated into the monitor’s flat, nearly frameless design to offer an excellent user experience.

Tidy cable routing

A multitude of connection options means lots of cables.The EV3895-WT is clutterless, since it is equipped with a cable duct and a detachable backplate. These features make sure the back of the device is kept nice and tidy, rounding off the very sophisticated design.

One monitor, many ports

The EV3895-WT comes with four easily-accessible USB-A downstream ports on the side, which means various peripherals can be connected without a separate USB hub. This is useful if your laptop only has a limited number of USB ports, for example, or if you want to optimise the set-up of your workstations for hot-desking or in a home office environment. The monitor also has USB-C and DisplayPort video inputs as well as two HDMI ports for total connection flexibility. The ports can be easily accessed on the back of the monitor.

Cutting-edge connectivity with USB-C

Video and audio reproduction, data transfer, including network signal and power supply for connected devices – all this and so much more is possible with a single USB-C cable. The EV3895-WTwill become your central docking station to which you can quickly and easily connect your laptop. This is especially practical if you have multiple workstations or switch between working in an office and at home. The 85-watt power supply via USB-C reliably charges small computers or laptops, giving you more desk space since an additional power supply is no longer necessary for the computer.

LAN port to ensure a stable network connection

The monitor has a dedicated LAN port to ensure a stable wired network connection. Laptops and PCs require only one USB cable to be connected to the EV3895-WT to gain network access via the monitor. This is particularly advantageous for laptops that do not have a LAN connection and allows for fast and stable data transfer, which is required for video conferences, for example. As a network device the monitor has its own MAC address.

KVM switch: Multiple PCs, one user

It’s never been so easy to switch between multiple PCs. The EV3895-WT has an integrated KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse) switch for its three USB upstream ports, and can be used as a keyboard/mouse switch. For example, this means you can use the same monitor with your home computer and your company machine when working from home, and operate them using the same keyboard and mouse. So you can work uninterrupted and keep your workspace tidy.

Software and ease of use

Impressive features mean greater comfort. Our intelligent software solutions and intuitive controls enable you to easily manage your settings as well as operate and deploy the display as a single-screen or multi-monitor solution at work each day.

Picture-by-picture: everything at a glance

If multiple computers are connected with the monitor, picture-by-picture mode allows you to view up to three signal sources on the screen independently. This saves time and means you don’t have to switch constantly between different video and audio sources.

Pre-set picture-by-picture layouts are available at the push of a button, allowing you to comfortably display multiple applications in different sizes.

Thanks to the monitor’s USB selection functionality (KVM switch), you can also use a single mouse and keyboard to operate multiple computers via the relevant area of the screen.

Picture swap: switch image areas at the touch a button

When simultaneously displaying three signal inputs via picture-by-picture, you can easily switch the image area and the main window at the touch of a button, so that you can focus on the most important parts of the screen quickly and easily.

Preset colour modes: optimised display at the touch of a button

Pre-set colour modes optimise the viewing of images, texts or films. Because it makes a difference whether you are watching a film, editing a picture, surfing the net, or writing texts. At the touch of a button, you set the respective pre-set for brightness, gamma correction and colour temperature. For example, the Paper mode simulates the pleasant contrast of printed paper, which is easy on the eyes when reading and prevents fatigue.

The Button Guide provides all functions at a glance. Touching the button is enough and the screen will show all functions and the corresponding control panel.

Screen InStyle

In addition to the on-screen menu, you can conveniently control the EV3895-WT by using the Screen InStyle software on a Windows PC. The configuration options include colour reproduction, energy saving options, and ergonomic functions. In multi-screen systems, the settings can be applied synchronously to all connected screens with Screen InStyle.

Image quality

There are many things that go into creating a high-precision/high-contrast, bright and crisp screen. We constantly develop our monitor technology, use only high-end materials and carefully calibrate every single monitor during production. As a result of these efforts, you can always rely on excellent image reproduction.

Maximum image quality thanks to the IPS panel

The monitor is capable of all three key elements of excellent image quality: excellent resolution of 3840 x 1600 pixels, maximum contrast of 1000:1, and stable brightness of up to 300 cd/m². That means you will experience razor-sharp text contours, brilliant graphics, and clear images. Thanks to the high-quality IPS panels with LED backlight, contrasts and colours remain stable from every viewing angle.

Precise colour control

An image can only be perfect if the colours are, too. This is why EIZO monitors have a 10-bit look-up table at a minimum, which allows the colour information to be assigned much more precisely than with conventional 8-bit LUTs. The finest colour gradations ensure that gradients are always perfectly displayed, while also offering customised adjustment options. For example, you can adjust the white balance from 4000 K to 10000 K in 500-K intervals.

Without overdrive: streaking and time delay

Overdrive to quickly change images

Fast, faster, overdrive. The overdrive function accelerates switching time so that the grey-grey change takes only 5 ms on average. You can watch films and rapidly changing images without annoying afterglow.

Ergonomics

FlexScan monitors ensure computer workstations are more ergonomic. In addition to alleviating eye and back strain, the monitors also meet the user’s unique requirements. This is because we don’t believe that you should have to adjust to your workstation – your workstation should adapt to your needs.

Save electricity and your eyes with Auto EcoView

At day, at night, bright, dark: No matter when and how you work, the Auto EcoView function continuously measures changes of the ambient light and optimises the monitor with ideal brightness values automatically by using a sensor. The benefits: Annoying glare is reduced, your eyes will not get tired as quickly. A special two-point control takes into account the brightest and darkest environment over the course of the day with the respectively desired screen brightness. Another advantage: Thanks to the automatic brightness adjustment, you will save up to 50% of your electricity costs in comparison to a monitor that is permanently operated at maximum brightness.

Of course, you can also continue to configure the monitor manually. EcoView Index is used for orientation on how environmentally friendly and economical your settings are.

Flicker free: for the sake of the eyes

To help protect your eyes, EIZO has developed a hybrid technology to control the backlight. This combines the benefits of the otherwise standard PWM (pulse width modulation) and DC (direct current) control. The PWM control uses much higher frequencies than standard PWM methods. The result: a flicker-free viewing experience while maintaining picture quality and colour stability. In addition, compared to pure DC control, you can adjust the brightness to less than 1% of the maximum value in darkly lit rooms. The benefit: Your screen remains free from glare even under these conditions.

Anti-glare coating: more image, less reflection

The EV3895-WT offers a perfect, non-glare surface. By minimising glare by diffusing the reflected light, the EV3895-WT effectively protects your eyes from straining. This keeps your eyes from getting as tired and allows you to sit comfortably in front of the monitor, without having to sit in a forced position to prevent glare.

Less blue light

Bright, blue light emitted by LED backlights of some monitors can be detrimental to workspace ergonomics. When editing documents, paper mode simulates reading on actual paper by using the appropriate settings for contrast, brightness and colour temperature. This reduces the amount of blue light. When used in combination with the Auto EcoView brightness settings, blue light is reduced by a total of up to 80%.

Flexible base

Ergonomic and stable: the adjustable stand focuses on ergonomics. You can rotate, swivel and tilt the monitor stand until you find the most comfortable setting for your back, neck and sitting posture. It features continuous height adjustment and can be lowered almost to the base plate of the stand, enabling you to position the top image line ergonomically right below your eye level.

Save electricity without compromising quality: The EcoView Optimizer reduces the background lighting fully automatically for dark images. This reduces electricity consumption by up to 30%. At the same time, the signal is amplified and the colour tone values adjusted. The result: You will enjoy the image quality you are used to but consume less power.

Zero-watt consumption thanks to the power switch

The monitors have an integrated mechanical power switch, which is extremely practical and energy-saving: If you switch off the monitor using the power switch, the device will stop consuming any power at all. Moreover, it consumes a maximum of 0,5 watt in standby mode.

Each EV3895-WT is manufactured in our own factory, which implements an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001. This includes measures to reduce waste, wastewater and emissions, resource and energy consumption, as well as to encourage environmentally conscious behaviour among employees. We publicly report on these measures on an annual basis.

Sustainable and durable

The EV3895-WT is designed for a long service life that takes into account the entire lifecycle and impact on the environment. It is generally well above the five-year guarantee. Spare parts are available up to five years after the end of production. The monitor’s long service life and the ability to repair it save resources and the climate. When designing the EV3895-WT we paid attention to reducing resource consumption by using high-quality components and materials and being meticulous in production. The packaging of the EV3895-WT consists of cardboard box made of 85% recycled paper, while the transport padding is even 100% recycled material.

Reducing the use of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) found in material production, such as some paints, is a global concern.

EIZO uses its expertise cultivated from extensive years of research to manufacture its monitor cabinets with a smooth, uniform colour and texture without using paint.
